06:40 - ScreamingSteelUS I've seen them three times, I think, and they were excellent each time.
06:39 - ScreamingSteelUS @Clint: I think they are much better live. I like their music, but have always found their studio material a bit stiff and lackluster. Live, they're a real beast.
04:58 - Boxcar Willy Why wouldn't you just go to the show and find out lol
02:16 - Maco GUYS HOW'S THE NEW SLEEP? IT'S STILL 19TH APRIL HERE
00:01 - Clintagräm Anyone seen Tyr live? They're coming near here on their US tour and I'm interesting in going. Love their albums, but how are they live?
US symphonic power metallers Kamelot are the newest confirmation for the 70000 Tons Of Metal festival and Wacken Open Air 2012, as was revealed on their official website. Kamelot's founder and guitarist Thomas Youngblood states: "We are very excited about returning to Wacken for 2012, this is one of the best festivals in the world and we will be planning our biggest stage presentation ever. Get ready for some fire!"
According to the band, "the new album compositions are going great and the studio is booked in Germany and preproduction is underway. The deadline for the vocalist submissions is January 30th, 2012. The new album is shaping up to be something very, very special and we once again have Sascha Paeth and Miro on board for production. Release date is expected in September 2012."
I expect we'll know until then, because the vocals will be recorded around that time, if the album is coming out in September.
Here's my daily prayer that Roy will come back.

They say "The new album is shaping up to be something very, very special" I guess it's about Roy or something.. what you say?
I don't think he'll come back, at least not this year, but I wish for him to come back so much. His presence in the metal world will be sorely missed. He has the right to exclude himself from the public eye and never record anything else in his life, but surely we have the right to be a little sad about it - his talent is unique.
