I have a feeling this is going to be a let down...

It's funny that they pick the 1 song that sounds nothing like the rest of the songs on the album to promote it in the trailer. Though I really dig that song LoG+female vox+synth = Actually really good.

I think I remember that was the case with "Redneck" as well. I was NOT looking forward to the album based on that song, but then I listened to the album in its entirety and it was awesome.

Why do I have the feeling they will be performing that song with Cristina Scabbia when they go on tour together in April?

I agree I have the same idea but I hope that it's just a wrong guess of mine, really log music has nothing to do with a female voice!

well many probably are but I think most of their fans can't be, I think that would be one of their mistakes a big let down for majority of their bands

At this point I'm accepting that the bands might change their style over time, I also realized I do it myself with my music.
If I don't like it, I won't listen to it and thats it. I won't go apeshit against the band

I don't believe in bands "betraying" their fanbase or such.

They haven't changed their style in a decade. I'm a big fan of them regardless, but they can't keep doing the same thing forever. The addition of female vocals on ONE song isn't going to turn me off listening to these guys altogether.

Let's see. If it will be only one song I don't think it can result any disappointment but it can't add anything to log at the same time, they have a big list of great songs, yes one song can not darken it but it can't brighten it either.
