US technical death metallers Arkaik have revealed that they will begin recording their new album titled Metamorphignition in February. The new album will be the follow-up to 2010's Reflections Within Dissonance and should be released at the end of the year via Unique Leader Records. The band also released a pre-production image-only video for the song "Skingraft Hieroglyphics", which you can listen to below.

That production quality is amazing.
As for the music it seems like above-average technical death metal. It's doesn't seem like it's breaking boundaries but a gigantic load of fun could be had with a whole LP worth of that kind of material. |
