12:18 - Redn1ght Morin Khuur? I get the impression of it as a mix of flute and violin from the looks.
12:15 - Lokaeda Some folk instruments that are seldom used compared to others: Didgeridoo (can't think of a band right now), Mongol instruments such as morin khuur (Ego Fall, and a European band I can't recall the name of)
12:12 - Redn1ght Hah, Banjo... That's an interesting one.
12:11 - Lokaeda Accordion is quite conventional in the folk scene, just like mouth harp and a whole bunch of folk instruments. I'd say Theremin (Green Carnation has used it, live at least), maybe banjo too (Taake's song and What Mad Universe)
11:46 - Redn1ght What are some more unconventional instruments that have been used in Metal? Accordion comes close.
09:27 - Lokaeda Check the album "morbid fascination of death" by Carpathian Forest, there's a song with some sax on this one.
Sound/Production wise it's instantly better than the God-awful Process of a New Decline but musically it still kinda hovers around sterile tech-death if you ask me (though still has a lot more soul than most similar bands). Will certainly be giving the full length a chance though.
For me Process of a Decline is by far the most distant tech death album from all others in the genre. This new song sounds like the others... which is not a bad thing but I fear they will lost their uniqueness. the Gorod-style. Replacing Arnaud wasn't a really good idea...
