14:48 - !J.O.O.E.! I'm so used to the original now though, that I'm not sure the vinyl version will be enough for some people. Definitely clearer and punchier though, particularly regarding little details.
14:25 - Dima ooo defs gonna check that out. The original was unbearable for me
13:38 - !J.O.O.E.! Having heard most of this version now, it's a contender to knock Unlock The Shrine of its pedestal [link]
13:00 - Timmeh Indeed, I cannot possibly read the word 'Mayhem' without hearing the voice of Necrobutcher.
11:46 - !J.O.O.E.! Funnily enough some of the best tracks from that BTC comp are from the new entities, that have nothing else to their name [link] Probably Ramirez fucking about.
11:37 - Joe Zombie Still waiting for updates on Charlie Fell's new band...
08:34 - ScreamingSteelUS I've returned from tonight's show with a setlist from Mayhem, a pick from Watain's bassist, the new Mayhem and Rotting Christ, a Mayhem shirt, and vomit on my shoes from the guy next to me. Shook Necrobutcher's hand. Good show.
Finnish metallers Kalmah have issued the following update on their official website:
"After inspiring hunting season Kalmah has found new keyboard player. We welcome Swamplord Veli-Matti Kananen (One Morning Left) on board! Velski has already played session gigs with us in Russia and Switzerland so we knew his skills and most of all his state of mindlessness.
We have started to write material for next album and so far we have 4 songs on the way - fast and fucked. New video will be shot next summer with mosquitos and Finnish swamp soil. Song for the video has already been chosen. Studio sessions will take place at the end of this year."
Meh I hope 12 Gauge didn't serve as inspiration for their new album. I'm drifting away from this genre, but I still hope Kalmah will come back in force and retake their signature sound.

Finally some good news Kalmah have never failed to deliver and I have faith in them. Can't wait And I know the video clip will be as silly, insane and Finnish as 12 Gauge was...But that's the way Kalmah works!
