Blut Aus Nord - Delay Release Of New Album

Debemur Morti Productions has issued the following announcement about the delay in the release of the new album from French black metallers Blut Aus Nord: "Let's get rid of the bad news first: contrary to recently mentioned on our Facebook page, the last chapter of the '777' trilogy won't be released in May. Vindsval thinks the album isn't excellent enough and will work further on it. It is absolutely vital that 777 - Cosmosophy represents a fitting denouement to the trilogy. If all goes according to plan, it will be out at the end of September."

"Now that the bad news has been dispersed, we're really proud to announce that, 16 years after its original release, Memoria Vetusta I - Fathers Of The Icy Age is ready for a proper vinyl release. The majestic artwork was crafted by Valnoir Mortasonge and can be seen here. Pre-orders will be taken soon and we expect this to be released within 4 weeks."

Valnoir. Always impeccable.

Too bad for the delay, though. I'd like to have a nice cover artwork of the new album to contemplate until September, then.

Shame on the bad news. The artwork is beyond good. Very nice juxtaposition.

I expected that this album doesn't come out in May...

Bummer, but I really can't argue with that. Looking forward to fall, for sure.

I love that excellence has a comparative degree now
The album is excellent, but not excellent enough. It has to be more excellent. Or - as we pros call it - excellenter!

But seriously, I like this. Too many musicians have rushed to a long-awaited release in the past and disappointed. Better this way than the other. Of cause it's not a guarantee. But I like the approach.
