| What you say?! New Tool album? This, this is good news |

| Could the end of the year mean Dec. 21 2012? Tool could probably write some epic apocalypse songs. |

| New Tool album, even 6 years after I can't believe it. |
| Good news. Tool never fails, and I'm certainly looking forward for another one. |

| I let out a little squeak when I read the headline of this article... |

| Sweet news came to me when i stopped waiting ... Seriously 6 years >< |

| Wow this news is amazing. And Dany is such a cool, laid back and down to earth guy. Nice interview (even if it's not an MS one) |
| They never disappoint. Ever. Name one time...see you can't. |

I wouldn't put it past them to release it on that date, with their sense of (humour?). |

| Hell yeah. Their fifth album has been on the back of my mind for a while, and it's nice to get an update about it. Tool is freaking good. I want to hear this. |

Oh hell yeah I can - 10,000 Days is a pile of dog barf. Even Lateralus only has a small handful of decent songs. Either Tool started doing far too many drugs to make actual music versus noise, or I've stopped taking enough drugs to continue to find that kind of thing interesting.

| When I read this, I had just woken up so I was still a bit sleepy, and I had to blink a few times to make sure what I was reading was true, and it was! |

| Can't wait. I heard a while back that they would begin recording around May-ish. Seems the source was spot on. |

Strongly disagree with you my fellow metalstormer. I love the post-metal influence on the album alot. I hope this is the new direction the band takes. |

Happy happy happy. They took so long that they definitely have something good, as always. Their quality control and commitment to consistency is astounding |

Hopefully Maynard hasnt spent all of his creative juices on all the other shit that he does. |

Awesome news, I'm excited to read that :D:D:D:D cheers for good music |

That's awesome, I should definitely pick it up when it comes out, thank god I wasn't a Tool fan in 2006, the last time they released new material, because the anticipation would have pulverized me. |

It's still on track.
