Swedish gothic/doom metallers Draconian have started writing new material. The band posted the following update on their Facebook page: "This weekend new lyrical creations will come to life. I am again collaborating with Författare (fotograf) Therés Stephansdotter Björk - who has contributed before with her poetry. Songs like 'Seasons Apart', 'She Dies', 'Not Breathing' and 'The Failure Epiphany' (among others) got a certain depth and presence thanks to Therés. She was also our photographer and a dear long-time friend of the band. The lyrical work for next album starts Now."

I asked her the same question and her reply was: "I was contacted by the band but decided not to go for official tryouts due to my own band projects". Aleah is very talented singer-songwriter and I guess that she could not express herself freely in Draconian cos in that band the cards are already set, Johan writes the music and Anders writes the lyrics. |
