German thrash metal veterans Destruction have set Spiritual Genocide as the title of their 30th-anniversary album, to be released in November via Nuclear Blast Records. The band has recently finished recording drums for the new release and posted the following update: "The drum-recording for the upcoming Destruction album Spiritual Genocide is finished! Vaaver did an amazing job on the fastest Destruction album in history! The release date of this thrashbomb will be around November 2012!"
For all the talk about Slayer releasing the same album over and over again, Destruction pretty much has been releasing the same album ever since The Antichrist. Luckily it's a damn good album and if this really is he fastest one yet, than my body may not be ready.

You did NOT just put a slash through Overkill. That doesn't fit anything. Don't do it. Like, apologize right now.
Sorry, hate Overkill but love the other bands. Overkill has been dead to me ever since getting booed off the stage opening for Slayer on their Reign In Blood tour. The only song I ever liked from them was 'Feel the Fire', which they didn't play since they couldn't come back for an encore due to booing, bottles, and spit raining down on them. That show was at the Moore Theatre in Seattle, WA, if anyone remembers it.
