I was aware from the get go that it had a retarded monster, but done purposefully. Honestly, who makes a mistake like that on purpose?
It is an awful cover, I agree. But the scorpion man was a nice touch in my opinion.

Not to mention how skillfully it was put on the picture just like miss "random chick I met on the street and gave her some "goth" dress and told her to look bored out of her mind which I needed for the artwork to look more gothic or something". |

CoF is a cheesy, over the top band, and thats the way I like them. No one should ever take them too seriously.
But you would have to be a complete idiot to accidentally turn the lower half around....nah, its obvious it was done on purpose. |

Nah, I don't care for the cover either..The only part about the cover I like is the scorpion man lolz, everyone else seems to hate it.
The goth chick and demon face are pretty awful though. |

Cradle of Filth's covers have always been incredibly cheesy and badly made, and this one is no exception. So what's all this commotion?
By the way, I like the band a lot, especially the stuff that they did before 2003, but I have no problem admitting that their stage image and artworks are the epitome of kitsch and bad taste. Unlike their lyrics, which, while being often cheesy too, are very well-written and a pleasure to read. |

What can you argue to such a smart statement ?
I don't mind about artwork that much, CoF covers are so so, sometimes better, sometimes worse but all that matters to me is music, so I'll give the CD a try before giving my opinion. |
