Nekrogoblikon - Release Music Video

California extreme folk metallers Nekrogoblikon have debuted the music video for the song "No One Survives," which comes off their self-released 2011 sophomore album Stench. The video, which can be viewed below, was directed and written by Brandon Dermer.

Produced by Melissa Marin, Sarah Charmoli and Dermer, the video depicts the story of a goblin, played by David Rispoli, who seeks the attention of a female co-worker (Kayden Kross).

Probably the best video clip I've seen this year and the whole album is simply brilliant! As a fan of Trolls I must admit that Goblins also kick major ass!

Yeah, it's nice to see something other than a band standing around playing in a video.

Brad was such a douche nozzle but that was a bit harsh for him at the end. A lot of win going on.

I guess he and the goblin don't get the girl.

I would say the girl passes out and goblin puts her in the driver seat and Brad in the passenger seat and ditches the car off a cliff.

Folk metal can be from anywhere. It's when a band from, for example, South America, does viking metal that it gets a little silly. Many cultures have some form of folk music. I think it's fitting that they play "goblin metal" and are from California. California is the home of a lot of the video game developers that make RPGs, like World of Warcraft. It's a very nerdy place. Plus you've got Hollywood. I would say a bunch of kids growing up in California would probably be influenced by such things and want to make music about it.
