Gothic metallers Sirenia have recently entered the studio to record the follow-up to their 2011 output The Enigma Of Life.
The band issued the following statement: "Festival season is over and it feels great to be back in the studio again. The progress on the new album is going very well - we feel confident that the 6th Sirenia album will have some nice surprises up its sleeve, as we've been determined to make this record somewhat different from the previous two albums. We have finished some recording sessions in Sound Suite Studio in France, where we tracked the choirs plus some acoustic footage. Right now we are continuing our work in Morten Veland's Audio Avenue Studio. We'll be back shortly with further information on the recording progress. Stay tuned!"

Well he also said, that Mortemia will be a resemblance of old Tristania, but we all saw what how it sounded at the end. |

Yeah, it sounded practically nothing like it, but at least it has it's moments. Sirenia just the first record (which is practically a happier Tristania) and then I couldn't find anything else enjoyable by them. |

| Well, i'm hoping for a good release! The previous one was super disappointing. |

| Enigma of Life was an amazing album... horribly underrated. Unfortunately, it's become hip to call Sirenia's new stuff garbage... I wonder how many fans missed out on an awesome album because they assumed it would suck. |
