19:59 - Jaeryd But yeah, there's nothing I'd change about the sound/production on The Desanctification or Cosmosophy.
19:57 - Jaeryd I also prefer the sound of TWWTG and MoRT, but the 777s had a distinctive sound that I think worked for the trilogy, and did exactly what it was supposed to do. I might've preferred Sect(s) to have a different sound, though...
19:53 - !J.O.O.E.! I feel like both sides are let down by sound and production issues. A recurring motif ever since the 777s (The Libers aside; they sound awesome)
19:46 - 3rdWorld What? Its no way that good but quite decent. But the Aevangelist side just sucks. I can't stand it at all.
18:55 - Apothecary Will investigate more. And damn, the BAN side of their new split is really turning about to be the pleasant surprise of the year for me. Might be just me, but I really think it's their best since Liber III, at least
18:49 - !J.O.O.E.! Their first 3 albums are all a little different, and the EP more or less like that album. All nice in their own right, though many people were put off by the story narrative of Urfe.
Canadian tech death metallers Beyond Creation released The Aura last year. It took a while but the band has now also released a video for a song from the debut album. The chosen song was "Omnipresent Perception". You can watch the video produced by Obnoxious Entertainment and Beyond Creation below.
Almost a standard fair "let's just play our instruments without any story" type of video but they do have those moments where they add the crazy effects to the strings. Pfft, who am I kidding, with bands like this nobody wants to see a video with a "story", we want to see these guys play their fucking instruments and watch how they do it in awe...
