A typical "meh" song in my opinion. Much of it is due to the "trying to sing while taking a dump" -vocals which I absolutely despise. I really hope that they are at least kept to a bare minimum like on the previous album. Thomas A.G Jensen possesses such deep and characteristic harsh vocals so it is beyond me why they are not utilized more.

Weird cover art but music is good. Keyboards sounds like older Paradise Lost.

I don't know what you consider older Paradise Lost, but for me that is the period up to and including Draconian Times and keyboards weren't fully utilized by the band at the time, just on a couple of songs by a guest musician and the keyboards when used sounded totally different on Shades Of God, Icon and Draconian Times. Gothic didn't even feature keyboards and neither did Lost Paradise and the demos.
Whereas for Saturnus it is a full fledged instrument used as integral part of the songs and not just to enhance a bit of atmosphere.

Although I do not despise nor dislike the usage of clean vocals in this case, I agree that his harsh vocals should be much more involved in their music.

However this song is very solid, reminds a bit on "Pretend" from Veronika...
