It has been nearly five years since Byzantine released any new music. The band reunited this year, launched a successful Kickstarter to record a new album, and recently has premiered a lyric video for the new song "Signal Path", which is available below. Byzantine's forthcoming self-titled album comes out on February 26th via Gravedancer Records.
According to the description, "The lyrical content of this song is based on the unexpected massive heart attack that Byzantine's lead guitarist and founding member, Tony Rohrbough, experienced almost 3 years ago. Thankfully, he is onto a full recovery and back with the band."

| FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU, I loved these guys so much... That sample video thing almost made my ears bleed. I think having kids made the band soft. |

| Yeah that's disconcerting... Towards the end his voice does regain some of the rasp and aggression of old, but listening for that long was tough. |
