Swedish psychedelic rockers Ghost have launched a new Secular Haze website where fans can hear a new track which has come together slowly piece by piece, instrument by instrument, from their forthcoming new album, expected to come out next year.
Every few hours a new candle has appeared on the site, and with each candle came one more instrumental track of a brand new song. Hover your mouse over each candle to isolate that instrument. There is also a counting clock. More about this mystery should be revealed soon. For now, you can listen to the song "Secular Haze" available below.
The band will also be performing a concert today, December 15th, in their hometown of Linköping, Sweden.

I like what I hear so far, and such an interesting experience.

I've been enjoying listening to the build the last couple of days. So far so great; definitely sounds like Ghost!

Never liked circus melodies.

Got to hand it to them - regardless of whether you think their music is any good - they certainly market themselves well.

Not even worth hearing tbh. Silly circus-melody intro song probably. Didn't like the actual song-ish latter half.

I loved the new song. I hope the rest of the album is as good as this song.

Internet suspense is sooo overrated. Song sounds nice though. |
