Mägo De Oz - The Recording Goes On!

The recording goes on!

Good news for all the Mago De Oz fans! The recording of their new album has been resumed. As the stop has only lasted a few days, it seems that the date of release and promotion of Gaia II: La Voz Dormida remain as they were fixed.

This announcement comes with more news due to the fact that we have known new details. First of all, the song Diabulus In Musica will not be the first but the second single. We'll remind you of the fact that this song belongs to the Gothic Metal wave, it has anti-clerical lyrics and it features Patricia, vocalist of the band Nexx. Instead, the first single from Gaia II: La Voz Dormida to be played in radio tunes will be La Posada de los Muertos. As far as we know by now, it is a composition next to the Molinos de Viento style.

More news: We are aware of new songtitles. These are Aquealarre, En Nombre de Dios, Desde mi Cielo, El Callejón del Infierno and Íncubos y Súcubos. As you can see, all these songs will have a dark atmosphere and they are all related with the Church. The band said some time ago that their purpose was to denounce all the atrocities committed by this institution.

In addition, the classic intro which opens Mago De Oz releases will be very close to the Gaia one. It will be featured by a symphonic orchestra... and no less than 21 guitars! It shall be entitled Volaverunt Opus 666, and it was composed by Txus in the middle of a moment of inspiration. Indeed, it was registered by him in his mobile phone while he was inside a taxi.

Although the whole band was concerned about composition in Gaia, this time about 85% of the work has been done by the drummer. Thus, the FinisTerra spirit is back.

Continuing with Txus' actuality, we should touch two aspects which are not related with Gaia II: La Voz Dormida. First of all, the shop "La Boutique del Diablo" will open next October in Calle Luna, in association with Underword. There, the new textile enterprise owned by Txus, "Satania", will send its clothes. They will be Gothic and sleazy clothes. Second, José Semprún, film director ("Peor Imposible", ...) has asked Txus for the soundtrack of his next film. This one will be formed by unrelesaed compositions by Txus and several Mago De Oz cuts.
