I tend to dislike how some bands try to build some hype around an album either constantly pushing back the release date or saying how it's gonna be the "bestest albums evaaaa" with thousands of teasers.
It's useless and makes fan enter a state of brain-dead worshiping mixed with constant whining (see, Wintersun). Release the news it when it's done (or almost) and no problem.
Not that I ever cared for this band anyway. |

Any album Tool releases will always have a huge amount of hype behind it, they don't need to attempt to build it artificially. (Due to their popularity, they have tons of that brain-dead worshiping and whining going on already xD.) It's not their fault they constantly get asked the same question over and over again in interviews. |

And just happened to pick up the Wintersun reference after their recent album, as I may have dropped any other over-hyped band. So the comparison seems kinda obvious and has nothing to do with musical criteria. |
