07:37 - psykometal Guess I've been fortunate enough to not attract any such people...lol
07:37 - psykometal Well, I don't associate with anybody who listens to such rubbish. Not because I avoid those people like an elitist, just that literally none of my friends listen to that kind of music.
07:33 - Jaeryd17 You haven't heard of One Direction yet? Lucky you, you must shelter yourself well from the barrage of pop-bullshit that's all over the place. They're a really dull, cliche, by the numbers boy band. Like 5 of Justin Bieber.
05:36 - psykometal Oh One Direction is a band? Lol, I was wondering what he meant be a "one direction tour banner". I thought he meant the banner only went in a single direction. Lol. Grammar fail ftw.
05:33 - huascaman There's no such ad. It's your subconscious telling you that you want to go see one direction. :}
The long wait is about to come to an end. Epic Austrian black metallers Summoning have finished working on their long awaited 7th album Old Mornings Dawn. The CD will contain 7 songs and one intro plus 2 bonus tracks for the special edition and LP version. It will most likely be released in May after all. According to the band, a teaser is to be followed soon on Napalm Records in a few days.
Full details: "So it is done finally. Today, after seven years of silence we have finished the work for our new album Old Mornings Dawn. The master tape is on its way to Napalm Records. As soon as they fix a release date (which is probably in May), the one minute teaser will be on-line on their homepage. We think this will happen during the next days.
The new CD will consist of 7 songs and one intro. Here is the track list of the forthcoming album.
We also have finished two bonus tracks called 'The Darkening Of Valinor' and 'With Fire And Sword'. These tracks will be on the limited CD version and on the LP version. The first track was originally supposed to be the intro of the album, but later was reworked into a instrumental track; similar to those on Lost Tales. The second one is the missing song from the Oath Bound session; just a little bit reworked. During the next weeks we will make a relaunch of our homepage. So take a look up and then."
Old Mornings Dawn tracklist:
01. Evernight
02. Flammifer
03. Old Mornings Dawn
04. The White Tower
05. Caradhras
06. Of Pale White Morns And Darkened Eves
07. The Wandering Fire
08. Earthshine
09. The Darkening Of Valinor [special edition bonus]
10. With Fire And Sword [special edition bonus]
I still have to listen to Let Mortal Heroes Sing Your Fame and Oath Bound (which I bought and received yesterday), though I'm looking forward to this for sure. Definitely one of the most anticipated albums of 2013 for me.

To me those are easily their two best albums. LMHSYF is my favorite of theirs. Enjoy.

Really? Then I'm in for a treat, with 3 new (for me) Summoning albums (not to mention the debut of Caladan Brood).
I've only heard their first 4 albums so far. Lugburz is pretty good, but I still like it less than the other three... my (obvious) favourite currently is Stronghold.

I'm with HitokiriNate85, those two albums are excellent. Stronghold too is my favourite. Lugburz for me, doesn't quite have the atmosphere of the others.

Lugburz doesn't really have its unique sound yet, but ignoring that, it's still good (nothing amazing though like Stronghold for example). I really hope they still deliver with Old Morning's Dawn.

same here .. Stronghold is my favourite Summoning album by far ... the others are great too, but Summoning is just stellar .. every song unbelievably beautiful .. I hope the new album can achieve the same
"Stronghold" is the best specifically the song "The Rotting Horse on the Deadly Ground", although Summoninig is a unique band in the sence that all of their albums are great!"Minus Morgul", "Let Mortal Heroes Sing Your Fame" & ... are Masterpieces of Modern Musical Art!
