The Steve Morse albums are still better than the last three ones with Blackmore.
Maybe in Slaves & Masters album, Purpendicular is a good album and can easily team up with the 3 last albums with Blackmore. But the problem is that is the only credible album. The house of blue light and The battle rages on are very credible albums with some awesome tracks.
Personally I'm a big fan of Blackmore as you may know, of course the style of playing of both guitarrists is completely different and I don't like Morse's style of playing. I feel technically the band goes completely downhill reflecting in the overrall score in the albums composed since Blackmore's departure. |
