HIM - North American Tour Dates Cancelled
Bad news arrive from HIM's camp today. The band has been forced to cancel their North American tour in support of their new album Tears On Tape because their vocalist Ville Valo has been diagnosed with severe asthma with presumptive pneumonia.
The following statement was released: "HIM's North American tour (which was due to kick off in Los Angeles on May 3rd at the House Of Blues) has been cancelled due to unforeseen medical circumstances. HIM's lead vocalist Ville Valo has been diagnosed with severe asthma with presumptive pneumonia. Tickets for all dates will be refunded at the point of purchase. HIM will be back later this summer as part of the Rock Allegiance tour."
Monster Energy's Rock Allegiance Tour is a late summer trek which will feature four bands from four different countries, with Volbeat, HIM, All That Remains and Airbourne on the bill and the tour dates yet to be announced.

Yeah it's a real mystery why someone who has severe asthma and smokes 40+ a day would have difficulties breathing.

Well I read somewhere that he stopped to smoke 2 years ago but who knows, he was already asthmatic as a child

Couldnt find any info on "Presumptive Pneumonia" though I'd guess it means there is a very high chance of him developing pneumonia in the near future. Pretty shitty, pneumonia is nothin to fuck wit. I also have asthma and I used to smoke a whole lot in my teen years and it destroyed my lungs. Smoking is a terrible idea if you have a history of asthma, it probly took me about 2 years to fully recover. Hope he can fully recover from this as well.
