Jon Oliva's Pain and Savatage mastermind Jon Oliva had previously announced that he will release his first-ever solo album, Raise The Curtain, on June 5th via AFM Records. The 11-song album contains ideas collected over the course of the last four or five years and it was tracked this past winter at Morrisound Studios in Tampa, Florida with producer Tom Morris. You can now check out the cover artwork below.

It is quite awful, a photoshop nightmare. However, I do like the symbolism with Chris Oliva's guitar propped up on the stage.

Yeah the flower growing out of it is actually kind of cool. Come to think of it if the album wasn't named after curtains just the guitar and flowers growing from it might be a cool cover. gets my creative mind going anyways.

Already been done. Thats Criss Oliva's guitar, they wrapped the flowers around it in his memory after he was killed.
