Derrick Schneider has been announced as the new lead singer of progressive/power metallers Dark Empire. He replaces Brian Larkin which was in the band for the last three years. Apart from this line-up change, the band is preparing their fourth album. You can have a taste of what the group has been working on below.

Dark Empire posted the following on their Facebook page: "As those of you who attended last night's show heard, Derrick Schneider (ex-Xenophile) has replaced Brian Larkin as the new lead singer for Dark Empire. We will prepare a proper press release concerning this in the near future, but for now, please give Derrick a warm welcome into the DE family, because we're excited as hell to have him aboard!"
