Dark Funeral - Playing Entire First EP And Album At Graspop Metal Meeting

The Swedish black metallers Dark Funeral are celebrating their 20th anniversary in 2013 with a number of festival shows in Europe. At the Graspop Metal Meeting, the group will play a never seen before exclusive setlist. This setlist comprises the debut self-titled EP from 1994 and the whole classical The Secrets Of The Black Arts album from beginning to end with a special pyro show.

The event is also in tribute to the founding member David "Blackmoon" Parland who died earlier this year. Don't miss out on this special occasion with former vocalist Emperor Magus Caligula if you can make it to the festival.

Exclusive Graspop 2013 setlist:

01 - Open The Gates
02 - Shadows Over Transylvania
03 - My Dark Desires
04 - In The Sign Of The Horns
05 - The Secrets Of The Black Arts
06 - The Dawn No More Rises
07 - When Angels Forever Die
08 - The Fire Eternal
09 - Satan's Mayhem
10 - Bloodfrozen
11 - Dark Are The Paths To Eternity

Moreover, a new Dark Funeral album is in the works and planned for an early 2014 release and the band is still looking for a permanent new vocalist.

Do people want to know the setlist before seeing a band in concert?? Seems like that would be better left as a surprise. I'm always a bit disappointed when I hear what the setlist is from somebody that already saw a band, then it's the exact same fucking set when I see them.

I agree with you if it's a random assortment of songs from across several albums. I want to be surprised!! BUT if it'll be a specific album, I'd most definitely want to know ahead of time. If it's an album I love I'll either make extra effort to go to the show or just get super stoked if I already have tickets. If it's an album I hate, I can prepare myself for the disappointment

Good point! I remember hearing about Tiamat playing Wildhoney in its entirety live not too long ago. If it wasn't many thousands of miles and an ocean away, i would have done just about anything to go.
