Burzum - Varg Vikernes Released From Custody
Not surprisingly, the French prosecutor has confirmed that Varg Vikernes of Burzum has been released from custody two days after he was arrested in central France on suspicion of "preparing a major terrorist act".
According to NRK, the French police had not been able to uncover any concrete plans for terrorism or any targets for such attacks, and Vikernes will not be charged with this.
However, Vikernes is not entirely off the hook. He will have to appear in court in a few weeks time, charged with breech of French racism laws, through his many alleged racist statements on the internet. But it is still unclear when the trial will begin. Also, if you feel like it, you can watch Varg leave on a car here.

It is a shame he was released after 15 years. Such a cowardly act calls for someone being locked up for life. And with life I mean life and not 21 years, or whatever the maximum sentence in Norway is.

They probably gave some importance to his past activities, or coz they (erroneously) associated him with Brievik, or even get a little excited over potential lone wolf terrorist... but judging by some of his blog posts, the dude seems more interested in living isolated from our "jew-contaminated society"  Of course, with Varg you never know, as he changes his opinion on something every 5 seconds :  Meh, he just should have stayed in prison for life sentence, as any murderer deserves... Would have been better for everyone, specially for the musical aspect
