Following a summer of touring in Europe, South America and Mexico, thrashers Slayer will headline its first North American tour in two years. The five-week-plus trek will kick off on October 22nd in Anchorage, Alaska, marking the first time the band has played there since 1996. The tour will include the band's previously announced return to New York's Theatre at Madison Square Garden and the Hollywood Palladium, venues the band hasn't performed at in 25 years. You can see the dates confirmed so far below with more to be announced soon. Araya and King are working on new material and hope to spend some time in the studio prior to this tour.

If they still have dignity, better call it quits...

Nope, i don't want them to quit. Lets wait and see what they do.

Jeff and Tom are missing from line up means they should called quit? how on earth this can be justified?!

you not giving "new" Slayer a chance to explore new horizons.

Yes Yes it's Dave.

I don't know why but I'm developing a problem of getting confused with the first name of musicians. Everytime I see your notification of that, I go "here we go".

Not much news about the new album but it's time to finish it since the last one was a long time ago ..so i am curious to see what would come out from this line up especially that Jeff is dead ...but i wonder will Gary record with Kerry ? and till when he'll continue touring with Slayer ?

New Slayer isn't really new. Bostaph on the drums isn't new and Holt on guitar is a perfect fit and he's toured with them for the past few years when Jeff got sick. They will sound awesome and be awesome in concert. I'm going to the 11/30/13 show in Boston hope to see some of you guys there.
