US metal masters Iced Earth, who have yesterday began the European tour together with Volbeat, have today announced some exciting news for the North American audience. The band has confirmed an extensive 6-week run over North America for April/May, 2014 with direct support from Swedish warriors Sabaton and Dutch metallers ReVamp. Iced Earth will be touring in support of their highly anticipated forthcoming album, Plagues Of Babylon, to be released on January 6th, 2014 via Century Media Records.

The band comments: "We are bringing our new album to the North America homeland when the "Worldwide Plagues Tour" hits North American shores April 4th for a six-week run with Sabaton and ReVamp in support."
