23:59 - Netzach Czerny, I get your point but I'd say the same about "Ashes"... It just gets too droney and gaze-ish in sections. Limbs and Not Unlike the Waves are awesome though... The Mantle has this "whiskey fueled regret"-feel I adore
23:55 - Netzach Btw, AMA on Reddit with A.A Nemtheanga if anyone's interested [link]
23:51 - Czerny Reiter Ashes Against the Grain & Marrow take the cake for me. The Mantle has some sections where it loses steam and gets all too mellow.
23:45 - Overrwatcher The Mantle is beautiful. It's not technical or experimental, it's just a well-crafted album made with simple instruments. I show it to non-metalhead friends and they love it.
23:12 - Netzach 3rd, compared to those albums, The Mantle contains a lot more post-rock and acoustic/folk.
23:10 - Netzach Agalloch are so damn uneven though. The Mantle is fantastic and I also really like Marrow... but as for the rest, meh.
Dutch death metallers Prostitute Disfigurement have announced their new album for this coming February. Titled From Crotch To Crown, the follow-up to 2008's Descendants Of Depravity features ten new tracks of merciless brutality. If you need more teasing, check out the album trailer below as well as the artwork and tracklist.
Recorded in multiple locations throughout The Netherlands, mixed and mastered by Yuma Van Eekelen and Bart Hennephof (also at Final Focus), the new opus promises to "deliver the band's sickest, most sadistic material yet" and will be released via Willowtip Records on February 4th, 2014.
The band says: "From Crotch To Crown is a mix of old-school mayhem and modern, bonecrushing, technical riffing with horrifying vocals spewed from the minds of the most sick and evil beings in history!"
