Misery Index - New Album Update
Good news arrive today from grindcore beasts Misery Index. The Americans are currently hard at work on their forthcoming studio album and have commenced recording the new grindfeast that will follow Heirs To Thievery (2010) and Season Of Mist debut. You can expect new music to drop in the spring of 2014.
The band released the following update: "We are excited to announce that we just began recording our Season Of Mist debut. Adam (Jarvis) will start by tracking drums with Scott Hull (Pig Destroyer) at Visceral Sound outside Washington DC, and then the rest of the album will be recorded at Wrightway Studios in Baltimore, engineered by Steve Wright (Dying Fetus). We expect tracking to wrap up in early January and are looking at a spring 2014 release. It is shaping up to be our longest and most diverse effort to date. In the meantime, we will be posting studio updates and videos, as things unfold. Cheers and looking forward."
