Don't like the look at that Ulcerate / Ruins of Beverast crossover. Still might partake this year.

Altar and Temple stage never play at the same time, so no problem to see all those nice death and black metal bands

It does! The only thing that sucks about this is, there is bound to be clashes. You'll end up missing quite a few bands you'd want to see.
I'd probably camp at Valley for most of the days.

Lez Zeppelin is not a typo. It's an all-girl Zeppelin cover band.

Yeah, they're called "support bands" to the bands called "headliners".

yes but usually at main stage plays real bands and headliners since there are 6 stages

Stages are determined by genre, not band prominence. Main Stage 1 is for mainstream/classic heavy/etc... so a led zeppelin cover band perfect sense there (they will probably play at 11am for 20 minutes anyway ).

Great line-up, the biggest they had so far for sure!

    That ^

Support / headliner is not showcased by the stage they play on, but by the hour they play (btw, i don't undertand why Benighted is once again so early in the morning)
    Marcel Hubregtse - 04.12.2013 at 23:43
Except that stage 1 and 2 are determined by how popular bands are since those twoo are the main stages. It has been like that ever since 2007

Simple, they are a small band. Stage times especially stage 1 and 2 are determined by how big the bands are popularrity wise. Ever single festival does that and Hellfest isn't different to that rule.

Well in France they are not that small anymore... As far as DM is concerned of course

But Hellfest targets an international crowd and not solely a French crowd, hence the low placing on the bill

True, yet Hellfest used to promote French bands...

I got my ticket! Planning a Europe trip around Hellfest haha!
    Marikanator - 16.12.2013 at 20:01
It is going to be the most exhausting festival ever, there won't be much time for chilling out in the camp area. The lineup is so damn epic
