Manowar - 'Kings Of Metal MMXIV' Artwork Revealed


Manowar have revealed another piece of the puzzle of the upcoming Kings Of Metal MMXIV release. This time around, the Americans unveiled the album cover for Kings Of Metal MMXIV, which will be released as two-disc CD and as double digital album on February 28th, 2014. Take a look at it here. Manowar have re-recorded the songs of Kings Of Metal with new arrangements.

Why? The original Kings Of Metal album is such a classic and here Manowar are re-recording yet another album. It'd be like Metallica re-recording Ride The Lightning or Judas Priest re-recording Painkiller - you just don't do it! I personally don't like remastering, for example, but I think remastering an album is much more justifiable than re-recording it all together. Oh well, I will happily keep my original Kings Of Metal near and dear.

Manowar have very little to contribute anymore. I am sure this CD will be $20 everywhere except US where it will be $45

Yeah, seen the original Kings of Metal at a record store which to me is notorious for sometimes overpricing for $5.

It's a Manowar cover so not much to expect really, but the absolute cheesiest thing is the little ® at the end of the logo... And it even has the 3D effect too, come on man...
