Lifelover - 'Sjukdom' Album To Be Reissued

Prophecy Productions has just announced that Lifelover's Sjukdom album will be re-released on vinyl on February 21st. The fourth and last album of the now defunct band followed Konkurs from 2008. Sjukdom (English: disease) is "where the extremes of the characteristically idiosyncratic Lifelover sound are pushed to their utmost limit." After the tragic death of B in September 2011, this is Lifelover's final studio album.

As of now, the album is already available for pre-order at this location.

The album is available as:
  • Jewelcase CD
  • Digipak CD
  • Gatefold LP (180g, red-white splatter) including poster and PVC protection sleeve (500 copies)

Why? It's perfect the way it is...Anyway I hope this means the band is somehow still alive and want to make music again.

I don't think it's being altered. The story just said re-issued. That means just produced again.

I doubt they'll continue seeing as B was the main composer and without him the project doesn't really exist. I'm pretty sure this is a last-ditch effort to make whatever cash they can without having to write any new material, otherwise it's kind of a pointless reissue.

Yeah I hope so, that album is a classic and shouldn't be messed with. I'd still buy it anyway

Just after Lifelover disbanded, Kim & the other guys formed Kall, that is suppose to have the same "narcotic bm" vibe. They were very clear that Lifelover would no longer be touched.

I see this as simply making available again the album, if it either run out of print, I do not know. It's still Lifelover's weakest effort, too much mixed bag.

Yeah I remember them doing a show in 2011 as a final tribute to B. I never really checked Kall. I know they have a Facebook page I'll check it out. Thanks for the reminder!
