German thrash metal veterans Holy Moses have just announced their new album. Finally the follow-up to Agony Of Death is coming and it is called Redefined Mayhem. You can expect the new album in April featuring 13 thrash tunes.

The band updated with the following: "As we know, some of you are waiting for a new album... two years ago, we released the 30th Anniversary Album. With that we closed a chapter of our band history and now we are setting the course for the future. On 28 April 2014 (Germany: 25 April 2014; US: 29 April 2014) we release our new album Redefined Mayhem.

"The name says it all. We had to redefine ourselves as a band and gel as a team. There were people who voiced their doubts that it would work. But the new songs prove beyond all doubt that Holy Moses continue to be a force to be reckoned with.

"You'll get 13 first-rate thrash metal songs, that are fast-paced and powerful, chaotic at times and with a modern touch, mixed and mastered by Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Dark Tranquillity, Extol). Stay tuned for Moses 2014!"

Not Tue Madsen, *sigh*. One of the things I disliked about the newer Holy Moses albums was the production. Tue Madsen always has the same over-produced sound on all his records.
