I went for The Quiet Eternity. but I like the name The Quantum Enigma ... the new Mayan album wasn't half-bad but I wasn't blown away either , I hope the Epica album is better. judging by 2013 we definitely need better albums in the genre.

I was 90 % sure tha TQ stands for The Quantum, the only mystery was E. Paradoxaly that mystery was Enigma.
Karlabos - 05.02.2014 at 20:52
Well... I got the "The" part right...

No but I'll take a date with Simone Simons instead.

Well, who wouldn't?

Anyway, I have the impression all she can talk about nowadays is make-up.

She writes a lot of the lyrics, I don't think so..

Ok, make-up and quantum physics.

Who knows, maybe after our date she'll write a song about it. "True Love Is Elbow Deep".

Now taking bets to see if new Epica will be as lame as new Within Temptation.

Secondary bet: Which rapper will be appearing on the album?

I'm going for 50 Cent.
Jiri - 06.02.2014 at 06:20
Damn, Jiri really thought it stood for "The Quarreling Eel" or "The Quacking Elf". Way off!

Okay, Jiri will bet. He believes that Fred Durst, Kid Rock, Pink, Miley Cyrus, Kanye West and Sharon Den Adel will perform guest vox. If not them, than at least Gaahl will show for some action.

I can see Vrag Vikernes involved in a wierd three way sing along with Simone SImmons and Ice-T whilst Santana plays pan pipes in a hula skirt.
AngelofDeth - 06.02.2014 at 07:56
What the hell does this even mean? Epica has never been to good with titles/lyrics though. As long as the music is good idc.

What do most Metal titles mean these days?

It was easy when they were straight forward without any pseudo-intellectual garbage.

So, it wasn't Two Quick Ejaculations, then?
Angel_Lament - 06.02.2014 at 12:37
I thought it stood for "The Queer Engineer"... guess I was wrong...
Still, I like the name, hope its nothing like last album, it was horrible.
Rhiannon - 06.02.2014 at 13:07
Well, they said it will sound like "a mix between Design Your Universe and the good old days". I hope it's true, because it would be their best album ever.

To be fair, this is a pretty straightforward title. It's about quantum theory, which I wouldn't call pseudo-intellectual at all, although their approach may or may not be the most "sophisticated" per se so it's hard to say how this will be perceived.

Not every band can release a Scream Bloody Gore.

Not about Finish dishwasher tablets then?

I really like their last album, hope this will be just as awesome!
