Black metal war machine Inquisition are currently touring in Europe in support of Behemoth and Cradle Of Filth on their co-headlining tour but their appearance at the show in Vienna, Austria has been cancelled. The venue promoter has banned them and the band was informed they cannot perform there. What?!

The band explained the matter: "Vienna, Austria February 21 show cancelled. Unfortunately Inquisition has been banned from playing the Behemoth tour Vienna date at club Gasometer, because venue promoter does not agree with Inquisition once being on the record label No Colours. We apologize to our Austrian and nearby supporters for this inconvenient news. The band will be back in this part of Europe during summer touring. Exact dates to be posted soon."

The band's Obscure Verses For The Multiverse is nominated for Best Black Metal Album on Metal Storm Awards 2013.

I didn't know Colombians were allowed on No Colours record label.

Dagon was living in Colombia when he started the band, but he is from the USA.

A pretty weak connection to make but I guess if you have the slightest connections with NS bands you're gonna have a bad time.
Zaphod - 08.02.2014 at 18:08
Too bad for Vienna, since Inquisition easily beats Behemoth and Cradle Of Filth.

What's that about the No Colours record label?

Lots of NSBM bands are signed to it, and it's primarily considered an NS label.
Alien1988 - 08.02.2014 at 19:29
So I guess Dimmu Borgir is NSBM since For All Tid was released by No Colours.
Daggon - 08.02.2014 at 22:42
That is just plain stupid, it's like kicking-out someone from your house just because their grandparents were nazis...
Oh, the people...

Retarded. That is all.

Well thanks to these idiots in vienna, inquisition played a killer show that night in budapest

Far better things to see in Vienna than silly Black Metal.

I mean this is the home of the Strausses, Beethoven and Mozart.

I love that city and all it's culture. If I was filthy rich I would live there and just spend my timing going to immersing myself in the most beautiful capital in Europe.
