Talk about planning ahead of time. News arrive from Blind Guardian today and it is the announcement of a new European tour. However, it will only happen next year, so you still have a little waiting to do. Below you find the first dates of their new European tour, that will see the band en route through nine different countries in April and May 2015. So maybe the new album will come out around that time? One can speculate. According to Hansi Kürsch, the production is almost done.

You will also have the chance to see Blind Guardian perform live at the 70000 Tons Of Metal 2015 cruise that will be taking place from January 22nd to 26th, 2015 and will take off from Miami to the Caribbean Sea.

Furthermore, the power metallers will appear at a few chosen shows this year, the first of which will be at Saarbrücken "Garage" on May 30th, and the very next day, May 31th, 2014 Blind Guardian will be headlining at Out & Loud Festival 2014 in Geiselwind. The band has been confirmed to play at Seerock Festival in Graz on August 2nd and at "Metal Hammer Awards" at Berlin "Kesselhaus" on September 12th, 2014 as well.

Vocalist Hansi Kürsch explains: "The last time we were on stage was at Rock Harz Festival 2012. After that we had to take a pause from touring in order to work on our ninth studio album. Now that the production is almost done, we are really eager to go on tour again and to introduce the new songs live and to celebrate the old hits with the fans in 2015."
