The cover is nothing special. But I trust these guys' music.

I'm very excited for this, something in a different direction for sure, from what the previous description of the album suggested. Yeah, there are probably gonna be some of the typical BM kvlsters who reject this because it doesn't have vocals or drums for brvtal blast beat intensity, but fuck the naysayers. This'll dig into a different aspect of the Weavers' musical personality, the more interesting one, if you ask me. If the album's anything like an extension of those two instrumental tracks from Celestial Lineage, I think this pussy right here will be pretty wet

Waiting . . .

Kind of like that cover, i like pretty much all the art work on there albums
Amatsu Mikaboshi - 02.05.2014 at 01:15
Disappointing cover, although there's probably going to be pages more of artwork inside like their last album which I think is both artistically and musically their best album to date

I don't understand why people are disappointed with this cover. It's gorgeous and sums up pretty much everything WITTR stands for: Atmosphere and nature.

I don't understand why people are disappointed with this cover.

Because they think it's too simplistic, maybe?
I'm loving it as well, sometimes simplicity can convey a grander sense of meaning in itself, and I'm sure that'll be the case here.
no one - 02.05.2014 at 02:45
Some people just like there art work to be a bit more defined

not me though, think i agree with the two statements above
Alex Fenger - 02.05.2014 at 03:57
This should be interesting. I doubt it will be anywhere close to my favorite of their's, but then again, they're one of the best bands ever
Will obviously give this many many many listens when it comes out

I think the cover is pretty. It certainly goes well with the title Celestite.

As I said before, I'd be happy as long as they don't cross shoegaze borders. For instance, Wolves in The Drone Room would be appreciated, but it's not likely
Also, cover is not surprising for WITTR and I like it.

I really like the cover, no matter what you say.
Time to hold on for the tracks now.

MS updates I suppose. I do like them don't get me wrong. Fingers crossed on this new one.

It's a good cover. It's clear what it is but it's also kind of opaque and obscured in a way, which to me is very reminiscent of the debut album's artwork: arty-ness
Karlabos - 08.05.2014 at 03:18
Am I the only one having dirty thoughts about the thread title?

Ya, that "and more" got me a little too excited...
