Belphegor - Reveal New Album Cover Art
Today is the day you get to see the album cover that will grace Conjuring The Dead, which is the impending new album from Austrian extreme metal duo Belphegor. The cover design was created by the well-known Greek artist Seth Siro Anton (Septicflesh), who also painted the cover of Pestapokalypse IV in 2006.
As for new music? Be patient...

Seth Siro Anton adds: "Once you can customize the basic principles of Renaissance painting and deriving energy/data from chaotic reservoir of unconscious...you get Belphegor's Conjuring The Dead cover art."
Conjuring The Dead was recorded at Mana Studios in Florida under the direction of Eric Rutan. Their new album will be unleashed on August 8th (Europe/ North America) and August 11th (UK/France) via Nuclear Blast.

All you haters are missing the point. What matters is that Anton's artwork connects with the viewer on a level that no other artist has ever obtained. Just what that level is can's be defined. It can only be felt. And the only way to feel it is to look. And I do mean LOOK. You shouldn's do so much as twiddle your thumbs during the viewing of this, or any other of his artworks. You would only be hurting yourself. His only rivals in this department would be the immortal classical renaissance artists, such as Da Vinci and Michaelangelo. But Seth Siro Anton still beats them out.
