Rivers Of Nihil - Robbed In St. Louis

Unfortunately, it happens again. Rivers Of Nihil's van was broken into in St. Louis and several belongings including passports, laptops, recording equipment, money, clothes, were stolen. This is a terrible way to begin what should be the biggest tour of the band's career thus far with Whitechapel and DevilDriver co-headlining. However, the band will still perform on the tour. Whitechapel, Revocation, and Rivers Of Nihil performed in Kansas City last night, and will meet up with the rest of the bands on the tour on May 17th in Denver.

Fans can make donations to help the band make up for lost funds/gear via paypal - riversofnihilpa@yahoo.com.

Despite this, Rivers Of Nihil have posted a brand new guitar playthrough video. In the video, guitarist Jon Kunz performs "Soil & Seed" from the band's album The Conscious Seed Of Light.

The band posted this message: "We would like to extend our most sincere thanks to the individuals who have contributed to our paypal account after last night's robbery. Every little bit helps! If anyone would like to contribute ANY amount we would be eternally in your debt. You guys are the greatest fans and friends in the world!"

Only heard one song by them, Rain Eater, but I enjoy it. Sad to hear about the break-in. I donated a bit of money to help them out a bit. \m/
