Epica - New Lyric Video Online
Epica's latest opus, The Quantum Enigma, has been released this month, and the Dutch metallers are streaming the second lyric video off the album. After the acclaimed "The Essence Of Silence", the track chosen now is the previously released single "Unchain Utopia". Enjoy the video below.
Mark Jansen had this to say about it: "The 'Unchain Utopia' lyric video is one of the coolest lyric videos I have ever seen. The footage worked out very well for this approach. Images and words strengthen each other. Initially we had a normal video in mind but that didn't have the same impact. We hope you will enjoy 'Unchain Utopia'!"

I don't mind lyric videos before an album release but after just seems lazy.

Written by AngelofDeth on 23.05.2014 at 21:26 I agree, but I still would rather have a nice little lyric video than shitty 'normal' one. And to do a really good clip you need a lot of money, I would imagine, so it's no suprise a lot of bands prefer this new 'trend'.

I don't mind it, not a perfect video, love the song but it might have been better as just a standard video rather than a lyric one
