||After five years and two full-length albums made together, German black metallers Negator parted ways with drummer Richard "Samebrann" Nolte. As you will be able to read from the official statements below, it has been a consensual departure. The band already found a replacement for Richard, and will be presented in the near future.
Commented the band: "Samebrann is no longer a member of Negator. Due to several reasons, we had to come to this conclusion. We parted ways, but we'll still be comrades-in-arms. We wish him all the best for the future and we would like to thank him for his tremendous contribution to Negator."
Here's what Richard had to say: "It's happening! As I placed my assignment as Negator-drummer at the disposal a few weeks ago, the time has now come for me to thank all our supporters and fans around our band! I'm glad about still performing one last time with my comrades-in-arms at the Metal Moon Festival tomorrow!
"We've already taken care of a successor, so you can look forward to next week's Gahlen Moscht Metal Open Air, when the new drummer will start promoting Negator at 1000% strength firepower to the next level! More details will follow shortly. As for my part, I will assuredly continue to devote a large part of my work to musicianship & audio engineering. Cheers!"
