Origins hits stores on August 1st in Europe, August 4th in the UK, and August 5th in North America through Nuclear Blast Records. The band will also be touring in Europe with Arkona and Skálmöld, and before that in North America with Týr and Metsatöll.

I expected the worst but I actually really like this new song. Helvetos felt really watered down and uninspired to me but this feels like a comeback, there's some passion in Eluveitie again. Hopefully the rest of the album will follow suit.

Thanks, Bloodtears. Yep, same old Eluveitie, which is to say AWESOME! Is so similar that I'm sitting here trying to find differences. Are they using new amps?

Im hoping for more folk than metal. Their folky parts are sooooo damn good, while some of the metal (not the metal-folk hybrid sections, just pure metal) are a bit meh at times
