Huntress - To Record New Album This Summer
Huntress announced that they will record their third album this summer, to follow Starbound Beast. The US metal band will be working with production duo Andrew Alekel (Foo Fighters, No Doubt, Queens Of The Stone Age, Clutch) and James A. Rota (Sound City Movie, Fireball Ministry).
This will be the third album Huntress have written and recorded in three years. As for the release, it is slated for early 2015 via Napalm Records.
Huntress will tour North America in October/November 2014 with Arch Enemy and Kreator. You can catch them on that tour.

Pretty fast. I hope this one will be a step forward, Starbound Beast had great moments but the collaboration with Lemmy was just gruesome. An album in the vein of the debut would be most welcome though if not an upgrade based on it.

I actually preferred their album Starbound Beast over their debut because I thought the song writing was better. It could have used some of the heavy or faster song style of Spell Eater though. I think it's great that Jill is sticking to singing instead of the more awkward screams or growls.
