Nightwish - New Album First Trailer Released
Symphonic metal band Nightwish reveled the first trailer of their new studio album. The Finns' yet-untitled new album is in the making and today the band reveals a first glimpse into it. The new creation will be the first Nightwish studio record to feature Dutch vocalist Floor Jansen. It's set for a release in spring 2015 via Nuclear Blast. Enjoy!
Enjoy the ride, as Nightwish take you on a trip to where the magic happens: settled right in the middle of the beautiful wintery landscape of Eno, Finland, band members and sound staff gather round the long table of "the Cabin" to discuss every aspect, relevant for the making of Nightwish album number eight. So far, the group's mastermind, keyboardist and composer Tuomas Holopainen and sound engineer Tero "TeeCee" Kinnunen recorded demo versions of 12 songs.
Commented Tuomas Holopainen: "From the moment I start writing the song, I have the story in my head. I have a really clear vision how the songs should sound like at this point. Of course they will chance after band rehearsals and arranging. And they should change!"

There's always a special place in your heart for your first love - as THE band that set me off on the voyage of metal "Once" as if in a dream, my anticipation surges as always for the next Nightwish adventure. Hopefully the band will manage to surprise us again with a new era to offer, especially after Tuomas just binged on Disney with the "Duck" album lol.

I think the inside look at their writing process is rather neat! Since Nightwish is rather beloved to me, being one of my first metal bands, I certainly will be keeping an open ear for this next offering

The narration part was so weird, don't know why. They might just top Imaginaerum musically and with Floor being the front singer, I'm very much looking forward to the album.
