After showcasing the brand new tune "The Negative One" on their website, Slipknot have now officially released the video for the song. The band's fifth album, the first without bassist Paul Gray and drummer Joey Jordison, is expected later this year via Roadrunner Records. For now, you can watch their new video and hear the new song as much as you want.

Dunno what that was supposed to be about. Tits and goats.

Song is so-so. Not as bad I as expected, but I don't think they made the most of it.

It's not groundbreaking in the slightest sense, but after all the bad stuff this band went through in recent years it's good to see them releasing some new material and not fading away from their long-time listeners.

I don't know, somehow this song sounds better to me in this video than on their official website, weird. Video is just so damn random... really bad. Where is the band?

I've been listening to a lot of their older stuff recently and it makes me hate this new song a lot more. Really nothing special and obviously not anywhere close to what they are/were capable of

Slipknot will always be "that band I loved when I was 15" - and this definitely harks back to the sound of their first three albums. Will be interested to hear this new album!

Ew. Talk about a band in need of distracting the audience from the music with a completely unrelated music video.

Classic Slipknot.

Boring video but I dig the song.
MichaelAngeloT - 07.08.2014 at 13:13
The video wasnt good because we all expected the band to show up at last!!
Despite that, the song kicks butts because they returned to their old Fuckin Hard roots

Never cared much for these guys, but I enjoyed this.

I think I found my next ex-wife. lol

This sounds like it could have been on Iowa. I like the way the bends and palm mutes throw the timing off on the intro/verse and I also like the octaves on the chorus. Lots of space in some parts to breathe and not a Stone Sourknot song.
