Probably, but when there's a shitstorm on him it's usually about everything but the murder.

Like "Varg said the guitar is a n****r instrument and he'll never touch it again, only to record 3 more very guitar driven albums later" or "Varg hates Jews so he's a dipshit". The murder itself is rarely explicitly mentioned when bashing him, although that may just be because it kinda goes without saying.

Varg is the crazy uncle of metal. That's why I love him.

Just don't let him babysit your kids.

Technically he "paid" for what he did during those years on prison
