NOLA: Life, Death & Heavy Blues From The Bayou - Series Trailer

This could be interesting. Noisey has presented NOLA: Life, Death and Heavy Blues from the Bayou, a seven-part series examining the people and the culture that helped foster bands like Down, Eyehategod, Crowbar, Corrosion Of Conformity, Acid Bath, Goatwhore and many others. You can watch the trailer for it here now and see if you like it.

From the crawfish-littered tables of the secluded Anselmo compound to a fishing boat with Eyehategod in the swamps, it'll discuss the bands, Hurricane Katrina, drugs, suicide, murder, and records that helped shape the New Orleans sound known the world over. It was produced and directed by Jimmy Hubbard and Fred Pessaro.

The series premieres on Tuesday, September 16th, and will debut a new episode every Tuesday and Thursday until October 7th.

I'll take a look at it. New Orleans is well-known for jazz music and this could extend my musical knowledge.
