Kekal - New Album Update

Indonesian band Kekal announced through the official Facebook and Twitter accounts that up to 3 tracks for their upcoming Multilateral album (set for release in 2015) will feature a Vocaloid‬ character Megurine Luka. For those unfamiliar with Vocaloid, it's a singing voice synthesizer so the new album will have some female vocals, even though synthesized ones. You can listen to a sample below.

I have no idea why I recognize this band name.

I blame you, Karly.

You're welcome =^.^=

Jeff said that the new album will be released in 2015 to commemorate the band's 20th anniversary. And yes, I too think that it's gonna sound really interesting. Given how the already released tracks sound, I can easily imagine Luka's voice fitting the music.

Much better than the original vocals unfortunately.. being an old time Kekal fan, even saying this makes me cringe

^ Indeed. If there's sth i don't like about Kekal is the vocals. The clean ones. (The harsh vocals are ok)
But using vocaloid and autotunes is an indicator that they know their weakness and are trying to fix it in some way.
More traditional metal fans (haters) are gonna hate, but... i think it's for da best
