Exodus - Premiere Second New Track

Exodus have shared another new song today! The thrash metallers, now fronted by Steve "Zetro" Souza once again, present you the blazing title track off of Blood In, Blood Out, available on the lyric video below for your listening pleasure. How do you rate this new song?

"A lot of people asked if [the song] had anything to do with Rob being replaced in the band, but as convenient as that sounds, the title, the lyrics, they were all there when Rob was recording it," says Holt to Billboard. "I hate to disappoint them on that one. It wasn't autobiographical."

Holt is referring to Dukes being fired while Exodus was recording the album. "It was the most out-of-left-field thing in the world," says Holt of bringing Souza back in. "We never saw it coming. It was just one of those things of during the process of making the album whereas four guys are really enjoying the process, but it just seemed like [Dukes] was not on the same page and was not that happy, and it started souring the mood. It got to the point after some back-and forth-discussions that the relationship seemed to sour. So we decided the four of us had to make a change."

You can still enjoy the previously released track "Salt The Wound" which features a solo from original Exodus and current Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett. Blood In, Blood Out is coming out very soon, on October 10th (Europe), October 13th (UK), October 14th (North America) via Nuclear Blast Records.

I thought the other song was better, as someone mentioned before the solo was great though. Overall sounds good and will be checking the whole thing out

Better than the previous song, but I didn't like it too much. Btw, the chorus reminds me a lot of Toxic Waltz.

Haven't heard anything besides TotD, but this comes far from topping that.

Couldn't make it through the whole thing, Zetro sounds like absolute shit on this album from the 2 tracks out so far and nothing else makes it worth listening to (production is particularly offputting). Namedropping Paul Baloff seems unnecessary too, almost like Exodus is trying to distract you from how completely unspectacular this is by making you remember they used to be kind of good/important to the scene.

Well, at this point Exodus are quoting themselves, but I guess everyone wanted Tempo of the Damned 2.0 anyway.
