Within Temptation - Release Clip From Upcoming DVD

Recently, the Dutch symphonic group Within Temptation announced their new DVD/Blu-ray/2CD, Let Us Burn - Elements & Hydra Live In Concert, set for release on November 14th. The band is now lifting the veil a little bit more and shares the "Covered By Roses" performance clip, which was recorded live at the Heineken Music Hall in May 2014. The video showcases a mix of both shows: their 2012, 15th birthday Elements concert and the final night of the Hydra European arena tour at Amsterdam's Heineken Music Hall in May 2014.

"Covered By Roses" appears on their latest album Hydra.

Not the best performance. I saw the live in April and Sharon sang so much better. Maybe they should have chosen for this particular clip a studio version of the song.

But this is a single/trailer for a live album. It pretty much demands a live performance.

She sounds out of breath, sure, but I have no major problem with it.

Well, if it was just a clip from a dvd it would be fine, but it seems more like a music video with off stage material and so on so maybe studio version would be better, especially when live audio version is not so good..?

Yeah, I get what you're saying. I guess it started out as a standard "let's release a live clip to promote our upcoming DVD" and then along the way they started editing in visual highlights from both shows as well as backstage and on-tour footage.

It's a trailer basically. "Here's some other good stuff from the DVD."
